New Queensland regulator for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy

The QLD Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy has announced that the new regulator, Resources Safety and Health Queensland, will be operating by 1 July 2020, following the passing of the Resources Safety and Health Queensland Bill 2019. The authority will regulate the safety and health of the mining, petroleum, gas and explosives industries.
