Mineral industries - Regulatory Impact Statement for draft Regulations

The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions has released a Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) for consultation, to improve the overall quality of the proposed Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) (Mineral Industries) Regulations 2019. The proposed Regulations will replace the 2018 Interim Regulations, which are due to sunset on 30 June 2019, and will clarify work plan and rehabilitation plan requirements. More.
