ACT Zero Net Greenhouse Gas Target Set

The ACT Government has announced that a target of zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2045 has been set for the ACT. The announcement comes after a discussion paper was released for public comment. Interim targets have also been determined, including 40% below 1990 levels by 2020; 50-60% below 1990 levels by 2025; 65-75% below 1990 levels by 2030 and 90-95% below 1990 levels by 2040.
