Queensland inspectors to focus on crystalline silica risks in building materials

Workplace Health and Safety QLD is conducting workplace audits targeting risks associated with respirable silica contained in building materials. Inspectors will be ensuring workplaces provide suitable engineering controls and PPE, and that work is conducted in compliance with a safe work method statement.
