VIC Electrical Equipment Safety Scheme Legislation

The VIC Government has released the Electricity Safety Amendment (Electrical Equipment Safety Scheme) Bill 2018, which will introduce a national database for suppliers and equipment regarded as medium or high risk. A new regulatory compliance mark will also be introduced to allow regulators to trace product faults back to suppliers.
