Draft biosecurity amendment bill released

The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has released the draft Biosecurity Amendment (Miscellaneous Measures) Bill 2017, which proposes changes to help manage biosecurity risks through better information-gathering powers, improved ability to amend biosecurity import conditions and minor technical changes.
