VIC - Consultation on e-waste ban underway

The VIC Government has released a number of policy documents for public consultation in regards to a proposed ban on e-waste from landfill-waste. The ban aims to reduce e-waste in landfills, better manage hazardous materials in the waste and enable greater recovery of valuable materials. The ban is expected to be implemented by July 2018. Comments close 25 January 2018.
