Worksafe receives new power to enforce tougher penalties

The VIC Government has passed the WorkSafe Legislation Amendment Act 2017, which strengthens WorkSafe’s compliance and enforcement tools. Duty holders who fail to notify WorkSafe of an incident, or do not preserve an incident site, face increased fines.
