WA container deposit scheme

The WA Government is planning to introduce a container deposit scheme on 1 January 2019. The scheme is expected to reduce litter, increase recycling and protect the environment. Consultation on the scheme is now underway, and a discussion paper has been released for public comment. Comments close 23 October 2017. More.
