Revised electrical equipment Regulations proposed

Energy Safe VIC has released a discussion paper and proposed Electricity Safety (Equipment Safety Scheme) Regulations 2018 to replace the Electricity Safety (Equipment) Regulations 2009 and enable the implementation of the upcoming Electrical Equipment Safety Scheme changes. The main changes to the Regulations relate to categorising consumer electrical equipment, certificates verifying that equipment complies with relevant standards and regulating second-hand equipment.
