Australia - Chemical Legislation - Draft national standard for environmental risk management

The Department of the Environment and Energy has released the Draft National Standard for Environmental Risk Management for Industrial Chemicals for public comment. The Standard aims to provide a nationally consistent approach to environmental risk management, and will apply to all industrial chemicals regulated under the Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Act 1989.
