Mental health awareness campaign launched in Tasmania

WorkSafe TAS and the WorkCover Tasmania Board have launched a campaign for mental health in the workplace. The campaign will promote awareness around mental health hazards in the workplace and aims to destigmatise mental health conditions. More.

Proposed changes to UPSS Regulations released in NSW

The NSW EPA has released proposed amendments to the Protection of the Environment Operations (Underground Petroleum Storage Systems) Regulation 2014 (UPSS). In addition to maintaining the focus on leak prevention and management, the amendments update the Regulations to align with best industry practice while simplifying its requirements. The changes also incorporate the shared regulatory role between the EPA and councils for UPSS sites, with local councils becoming the regulatory authority for most UPSS from 1 September.
