EPA announces NSW draft resource recovery strategy

The EPA has released the draft NSW Waste and Resource Recovery Infrastructure Strategy 2017-2021 for public comment. The strategy proposes a target for diverting waste from landfill to 75% by 2021. The strategy has been developed to assist councils and waste industry participants to understand the expected increase in waste streams and how to plan to ensure infrastructure is available.
