EMS conference in October The Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Association is holding its annual EMS conference in Geelong, Victoria, in October.

There will be workshops on specific topics, as well as a panel discussion. Environment Essentials' Tim Hamilton will be running a workshop on internal auditing – how to prepare for them, how to do them etc.

The conference is a good opportunity to meet others who are managing EMSs, share experiences and get tips.

SafetyLaw Rail WA We are currently developing SafetyLaw Rail WA, which summarises the recently-commenced Rail Safety Act 2010 (and associated regulations when they're finalised).

If you operate a railway in WA, SafetyLaw Rail WA will make it much easier to understand what is required of you under the new legislation and achieve legal compliance.
