HSE LawGuides are an online information service that provide plain language summaries of both environmental and OHS legal duties.

HSE LawGuides contain similar information to EnviroLaw and SafetyLaw, but the information is structured very differently.

HSE LawGuides have been specifically designed to help you identify ‘gaps’ in your HSE compliance system, develop links between individual legal obligations and your own system controls, and do legal compliance audits.

Each LawGuide is written in a simple checklist format. Fully customisable implementation and audit checklists, with links to individual legal duties, are included for use in planning compliance work, doing gap analyses, implementing risk controls and updating documentation when laws change.
